End of Day 1

This is the end of the day summary... us in the taxi heading down to Blue Man. I do love them! It was a TEEEENY tiny theatre - only 12 seats across and we were about 10 rows back. Lauren got to shake a Blue hand on the way out. :) The taxis here are cool, all equipped with touch screen tvs in the back. You can check the weather, catch up on the latest news, and see events in the city.

We had to be at the theatre early to check in, but then we had time to kill before they would seat us. So we hung out at Wal-Greens (but a cool one with neon lights and an escalator) - and K-Mart (where Lauren tried on some swanky hats) - and of course the famous (?) big black cube. While we were at the cube we saw a skater dude with a lady that he had just knocked down in the middle of an intersection. And we also saw a really cool lamp post (like a crosswalk light) that was just covered in mosaic tile. Lauren has a picture of that - maybe we'll upload it tomorrow. They're both in bed - I'm there very soon. Tomorrow we do the double-decker bus all over the city - stop by the Mac store - and the night tour of NYC.
